At present, the speed of laser cutting technology applied in my country has exceeded 25m/min, the moving speed of the two axes of the cutting machine can reach 240m/min, and the acceleration during operation can reach about 10G. On a 1mm thick board, about 500 holes can be cut per minute for about 10mm holes.

 

2. The power of laser cutting machines is gradually increasing, and laser cutting is also developing from light and thin plate cutting to heavy industry thick plate cutting.

The thickness of carbon steel sheets that can be cut by high-power 40KW lasers reaches 150mm. In the process of continuous improvement of cutting technology, my country has been trying, and 30KW lasers have been gradually applied to cutting 100mm carbon steel sheets. In addition, the size range of workpieces used in laser cutting technology is increasing.

Laser cutting technology has begun to develop in the direction of thick plates and large sizes, which has promoted the design of laser cutting equipment in this direction, thereby further improving industrial processing technology. After China joined the World Trade Organization, frequent international exchanges prompted various industries to gradually join the international competitive ranks. In this process, industries such as automobiles and aviation need to continuously apply laser cutting technology in the development process.

 

4. China has applied three-dimensional six-axis laser cutting technology.

For processing operations, the application of three-dimensional laser cutting machines in actual operations helps laser cutting technology develop in a more precise direction, and the economic development of three-dimensional laser cutting promotes the maturity of processing technology. As a processing technology, laser cutting technology is necessary and urgent to develop in the direction of automation and unmanned operation.
